Functional, beautiful, and inviting.  Our kitchen design is versitile and easily used for daily food prep. rituals, holiday meals, and especially entertaining guests.  Open to the dinning room and living room with french doors to a large deck and incredible views the kitchen is the cornerstone of the home.  Schrocks of Walnut Creek cabinets are hand build and finished.  Knotty alder wood raised panel doors that come standard with an infinite choice of handles, self closing drawers, a spice rack mounted on the door next to the range, silverware organizer next to the dishwasher, large pot drawers opposite the range, and a wine rack facing the dining area.  The granite is 3cm black pearl with a hand cut slate backsplash.  We enjoy designing kitchens.

A view of the living room from the loft.  The center piece of the home is the large gas fireplace surrounded in custom trim moulding that matches the stair balustrades.  Note the hearth, it is basalt bedrock pulled from the site during excavation and perched atop stacked slate.  The stones edges are untouched and display the natural beauty our our areas most prominent geologic formation.  Above the fireplace is a nook wired for home theater.  Arts and crafts style light fixtures add soft indirect light and focus attention to the fireplace.
